See how big it actually is.
Paste a listing or type a size into the box. ThisBig draws it to scale next to things you already know: your hand, an ATM card, a plastic chair, a doorway. On shoes and clothes, it tells you which size to get.

Every product photo is the same size.
A fridge and a lunchbox both fill your screen. Even the ruler above is only right on some phones. So listings fall back on numbers, and numbers are hard to picture.
40 × 30 × 25 cm
Numbers you can’t picture
Precise, correct and no help at all. Is that a handbag or a travel bag?
Size 32
A size that doesn’t say what it measures
Waist? Leg? Inches? The listing doesn’t say.
See it answeredReturns rarely work here, so a wrong size is just money gone. Check it before you pay.
Bring the size however you found it.
Four ways in, none better than the others. You can also share a listing straight into ThisBig from any app.

Paste a link from Jumia, Konga, Instagram or any shop’s site.
Photograph a tag
Point the camera at a size tag, a spec label or a printed chart.
Type it in
Already have the numbers? Type them in centimetres, inches, feet or millimetres.

What happens next
-
1
Reads it
Finds the dimensions in whatever you gave it and converts them to millimetres. On your phone, in under 10 ms.
-
2
Checks it
A wristwatch 4 m long is a typo, not a product. When a size makes no sense for the thing, ThisBig won’t draw it.
-
3
Draws it
The item stands on one ground line with up to three things you know: one smaller, one about the same, one bigger.
Then it says it plainly, smallest to biggest
- Fits in the palm of your hand.
- Easy to hold in one hand.
- You might need both hands to carry it.
- One person can carry it, but it’s awkward.
- A two-person carry, tilted on its side to get through a doorway.
- Too big to fit through a standard doorway.
Shoes · Fit Passport
Will they fit you?
Tell ThisBig the size you wear, or measure your foot on a sheet of A4. On any shoe listing it names the size to get, says how sure it is, and draws your foot inside the shoe.
When a listing says “Asian size, choose one size up”, it moves you up a size and says why. When a size is sold out, it tells you which would have been right.
Worked out from the millimetres each time, never stored as a label. Brands run big and small, and ThisBig says when it is using a standard chart.
What size do you wear?

Tops and trousers
Size 32. Waist? Leg? Yours?
Lay a pair that fits flat and measure it, or just say the waist you wear. ThisBig reads the shop’s own size chart and names the size to get, from the waist and hips first.
A leg that’s a little long is a tailor’s job, and it says so. A waist that’s too tight isn’t. When the fabric stretches it allows for that, and when a chart is only a picture it asks for a screenshot rather than guess.
What do you know about your trousers?
Slim fit jeans · waists 30 to 36, L32
Skirts and dresses
62 cm long. Where does that fall on you?
A length on a chart doesn’t say knee or calf. ThisBig hangs the size on a figure your height and names where it lands: above the knee, at it, just below, mid-calf, the ankle or the floor.
From your height alone it’s an estimate, and it says so. Measure from your waist to your knee once and the knee is exact. A bare “12” on a skirt is a UK 12 in one shop and a US 12 in another, four sizes apart, so it says which it read.
How tall are you?

The size, before the price.
Add ThisBig to your browser and you won’t have to copy anything. Open a product page and the verdict is already there, under the title. On shoes and clothes it names the size to get, and follows the size you tap. Click it for the full drawing beside the page.

On shop pages
A yellow chip means the size was read from the page. A white one with an Estimate badge means the listing didn’t say, so ThisBig guessed and tells you.
On any other page
Highlight a size, right-click and choose See how big this is. It works on social posts and WhatsApp Web catalogues, without reading those sites.
Beside the page
The full drawing opens in a side panel, so the listing stays in view. Copy the image and paste it into WhatsApp Web for whoever you’re buying with.
It only reads the shops on its list. Everywhere else, it waits for a right-click. No account needed, and your sizes stay in your browser unless you link it to your phone.
When it’s guessing, it says so.
A drawing at the wrong scale is worse than no drawing. Every result shows how sure it is, and anything assumed can be fixed in one tap.
-
Exact
Made to a standard. An ATM card is 85.60 × 53.98 mm everywhere, and a sheet of A4 is always 210 × 297 mm.
-
Typical
A common size, not a fixed one. Plastic chairs vary, so ThisBig uses a fair middle and tells you so.
-
Estimate
Something had to be assumed, like the units or the size itself. One tap corrects it.
Electric Kettle 1.8L, Stainless. 12 x 8 x 4
Measured against things you already know.
References are picked to suit the size of the thing: a card for earbuds, a chair for a fridge, a doorway for a wardrobe. They’re local, too. A bag of rice tells you more than a basketball.
Or use your own hand.
Lay your hand flat on a sheet of A4 and take one photo. A4 is 210 × 297 mm everywhere, so ThisBig can measure your hand from it to within about 5 mm. Add your height too, and the figure in every drawing is you.
And whether it fits where it’s going.
Measure your car boot, the shelf or your front door once. Every listing after that says whether it goes in, turned whichever way fits best, and by how much. A sofa is checked against the door it has to go through. Save your laptop, and a bag listing says whether it holds it.
Measure before you pay.
